A friend of mine has a daughter with Vesta on this degree. She is due to go to Tanzania, Africa to experience helping the School of Saint Jude. In order to go, she had to fundraise $1000 to go towards educating an African student to cut the cycle of poverty though lack of education. She eventually raised $8000! So clearly she is passionately involved, being only 15 years old, in this cause. I believe that this symbol is represented by this school in Africa, for her, and that she is displaying her perfect essence in being involved in it.
