Aries 27-28 A Large Disappointed Audience

Today I had a shower-thought about this symbol and thought I might share. I was trying to think about the connection between this symbol and it's opposite Libra 27-28 A Man In The Midst Of Brightening Influences, as well as the rest of the cross: Capricorn 27-28 A Large Aviary and Cancer 27-28 A Modern Pocahontas.

The person that illustrates the connection? Ronda Rousey.

If you read about her trip to Standing Rock protests in North Dakota, you might find certain parts of the story resonate with these symbols - the Disappointed Audience in the protestors (who, on 24th of January 2017 - the day of Ronda's supportive visit - learned that President Trump signed orders to advance the pipeline in spite of their protests), the Large Aviary being the cage of Native American and colonialist politics, the modern Pocahontas represented by the brief relationship between Ronda and Linda Black Elk (the Twitter photo that is doing the rounds), and the Brightening Influences represented by the moral support Ronda brought to the cause. It so happened that on the Tuesday, Lilith was on this degree. It would be very easy to project Lilith onto Ronda (because that is how Trump might see her!)

On a more personal note, I speculate that for Ronda personally, who felt like she had disappointed her fans with her loss to Nunes in December 2016, the Disappointed Audience reflects a chapter of her hero journey, and she is now encouraged to move on from UFC (interestingly, she was accused by UFC fans of white privilege due to the disparate amounts herself and Nunes were paid for the fight).
The Large Aviary could represent the cage of UFC that was Ronda's career. The Modern Pocahontas event of Standing Rock support brought attention to Ronda's generally unadvertised charitable efforts - and differs from other celebrity support in that she offered to literally stand together with protestors to get pepper-sprayed in the face (wow, what a warrior)! It is the story that transitions her away from the UFC cage toward other interests in her life.

In terms of the bigger energetic picture, I speculate that The Large Aviary is the structure within which the group could be disappointed and therefore learn what is NOT working, moving toward A Modern Pocahontas - trying to embrace new members and what they bring, while aware of who oneself is and their own background - comparison and synthesis. The Man In The Midst Of Brightening Influences could represent collaborative hope/ideas/creative solutions used towards changing the structure of the Aviary (including "pecking order"). I hope Ronda is in the midst of Brightening Influences herself as she moves on into other ventures!
