I know a 6 year old with Ceres on this degree. She is extremely strong-willed and I know that she has a past life as a Viking mother who was extremely mean and critical. And you know what the Vikings got up to don't you? In this life she has got up to a lot of trouble at school, and she's only in her first year! However, Ceres is apparently about giving and receiving love, so this symbol indicates to me that she feels loved when she is protected despite her wrong-doing (which she is well aware of). And I imagine that she did the same in her past life as the matriarch of a powerful family ("Did my son murder your family and pillage your village? So what! You can't touch us!").
