After having written the 02-03 GSVP cross, this cross seemed very similar in the sense of "more things change, the more they stay the same". The difference is that each symbol has a sense of embodying rhythm, more than in the 02-03 GVSP cross which resonated with order and control.
Let's consider the pump-jacks in Texan (USA) oil-wells (Gemini) that intend to bring oil and provide a visual nodding rhythm in the landscape, seeminly tireless. The Virgo merry-go-round whirls children around on a circular platform for fun. The Sagittarian cricket game has overs where the teams take turns batting, and is considered a gentlemen's game of fun and strategy. According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, the Piscean officers perform on dress parade (a formal ceremonial parade in non-combat dress uniform) in a set choreographed rythm as part of military ceremony. The parade has been practised by the officers by "drill"! Which brings us back to the Gemini symbol drilling for oil.
The theme for this cross is rhythmic repetition for gain (Gemini), for fun or recreation (Virgo and Sagittarius), or for displaying pride in service (Pisces). In a sense, this cross is about the importance of the rhythms of life, like fetching wood and carrying water, that still need to be attended to for survival (Gemini), enjoyment of our days (Virgo and Sagittarius) and respect for what we have achieved (Pisces).
