08-09 Aries/Cancer/Libra/Capricorn cross

  • Aries: A Crystal Gazer.
  • Cancer: A Tiny Nude Miss Reaching In The Water For A Fish.
  • Libra: Three Old Masters Hanging In An Art Gallery.
  • Capricorn: An Angel Carrying A Harp.

First let us consider the symbols individually before deciding on the meaning of the cross.

The Aries crystal gazer is looking at a vision - stereotypically the future, although in divinatory arts (as this symbol evokes the idea of a crystal ball) the vision requested could be about what is happening elsewhere at the moment.  Since the crystal ball is not specified in the symbol, however, this could mean someone is staring at a literal crystal.  What do they see in it?

Using dream theory, a crystal ball suggests looking for direction in life or represents one's outlook of the future according to dreammoods.com, where it also states that seeing "a crystal in your dream signifies wholeness, purity, healing, development and unity. It represents your higher Self. The dream may be a metaphor for something in your life that is crystallizing or taking shape.

To dream that you are looking into a crystal represents how you are looking within yourself to find your true destiny. Alternatively, it indicates your outlook of the future."

This interpretation of the Aries crystal gazer resonates well with the Libran masters in the art gallery - as these artists have executed visions over their life and honed their craft to become masters.  While Aries looks into the future or elsewhere (rather than where they are now) the Libran masters have worked to achieve their success at representing their inner realizations.  According to Doreen Virtue's Angel Numbers book, the number three actually does represent the spiritual ascended masters such as Jesus, Buddha, Kwan Yin and so on.  According to dreammoods.com "an art gallery represents your past experiences. Something in your past is having an impact in your current situation. Alternatively, the dream may be telling you that you need to capture some moment  and preserve it."

Using dream theory, the Capricorn angel and harp also resonate well with the dream interpretation of Aries and Libra - the harp represents spiritual harmony and healing (or the harp represents nagging and "harping" on someone - but clearly by an angel therefore well-meaning).  The musical instrument of the symbol also works with the art focus of the Libran gallery.

The Cancerian nude miss also resonates with the art focus, however the context of the symbol evokes a water-spriteish mood rather than meaning a nude model.  According to dreammoods.com "to see fish swimming in your dream signifies insights from your subconscious mind. Thus to catch a fish represents insights which have been brought to the surface."

This cross is also interesting for its collection of guides: divinatory arts (Aries), elementals such as fairies and sprites (Cancer), ascended masters (who have walked on Earth and have been there, done that and able to help you understand your journey on Earth; Libra), and angels (Capricorn).  While this cross could be reduced to this simpler meaning similar to the 03-04 Taurus/Leo/Scorpio/Aquarius cross, the fact that more symbols here are in motion (gazing, reaching, carrying) demands a deeper interpretation.

Putting the cross together, the dream journey begins with seeking a vision from the inner self (Aries), reaching for insights (Cancer) to render past experiences in their best spiritual representation (Libra) for inner harmony and healing (Capricorn).

More practically, the cross shows us that once we see a vision (Aries) we need to make the effort no matter how small (Cancer) to do what needs to be done one step at a time, one fish at a time sustaining ourselves in our daily life (Cancer) whether or not we feel we are small in comparison to the wider world and stretch of life (Cancer) to eventually create a body of work that is worthy of your life (Libra), for personal fulfillment (Capricorn) and a sense of balance.

The link from Capricorn to Aries is that heaven is implied at the end of life's journey (Capricorn angel) and so before we dive in, for those who believe in reincarnation, we might gaze (Aries) at all the potential situations we can be born into that help us evolve our soul before choosing one and then being born and doing what we need to do (Cancer).
