22-23 Aries/Cancer/Libra/Capricorn cross

  • Aries: A Woman In Pastel Colors Carrying A Heavy And Valuable

                 But Veiled Load.

  • Cancer: Meeting Of A Literary Society.
  • Libra: A Chanticleer.

  • Capricorn: Two Awards For Bravery In War.

The theme of this cross is recognition or appreciation.  I usually interpret Aries’ symbol as a pregnancy and while veiled the load is still visible. We may not know the load’s secret, but we can see there a load.  The woman veils the load because she understands its value and wants to keep it to herself.

Cancer’s meeting facilitates mutual recognition of a shared passion; Libra’s rooster/chanticleer (meaning to sing/crow clearly) proudly crows in recognition of the sunrise; Capricorn’s awards are in recognition of valor, hard won.

In summary, the cross shows recognition or appreciation of:

  • personal value (and therefore boundaries—Aries)
  • shared passions (Cancer's literature)
  • another (Libra's sun) and the self by association
  • actions above-and-beyond duty, for society (Capricorn).
