24-25 Aries/Cancer/Libra/Capricorn cross

  • Aries: A Double Promise.
  • Cancer: A Dark Shadow Or Mantle Thrown Suddenly Over The

                    Right Shoulder.

  • Libra: Information In The Symbol Of An Autumn Leaf.

  • Capricorn: An Oriental Rug Dealer.

This Aries and Libra combination is a little like Virgo 28-29 A Man Gaining Secret Knowledge From A Paper He Is Reading. However the realisation (Libra) is not immediate, and only occurs while walking the path of this cross, probably from the initial promise/contract (Aries) where the agreement also means something else, probably made by the Capricorn dealer.  The meaning doesn’t have to be sinister, but when we look at the Cancerian dark mantle there is a tough love (at best) or sinister (at worst) implication.  The right side can mean the future, a male, or giving - in the context of this cross it could be a warning about the future.

The Capricorn symbol of the salesman connects the dark mantle and the double promise – be careful what you wish for, it might just come true.  Rugs are like tapestries and blankets, woven with colours and textures like a story.  They are placed under the feet (like the magic carpet) however in this context seem to be about the choice of possible paths and life stories.  The Libra realisation in time (autumn rather than winter) prompts a turning point and a new choice made (Capricorn).

So the story is: here is the marketing pitch (Aries), and this is a taste of the dark side of what you want (Cancer) in case you only saw the pros and not the cons, "oops, I now know enough to change my mind" (Libra) "so lets see if I can return this thing and walk on a different path" (Capricorn) which itself has a double promise (Aries), as all desired paths do - let's hope the deal you make is worth the cost (Cancer)!
